Let’s capture it

Elm stands for Edward Lachance Memorial Photography, named in honor of Josh’s grandfather, who passed away in 2019, his passion for photography sparked Josh’s own dream years ago. Growing up around his portrait studio and darkroom, Josh developed a love for capturing moments that never faded. In 2019, Bex reignited that dream with the gift of a Canon DSLR, and Elm Photography was born, a company focused on diversity, body positivity, and inclusivity.

Fun facts about us

  • Josh and Bex blended their families in 2017, creating their own “yours, mine, and ours” adventure with 7 kids! We know firsthand how precious family moments are—and how important it is to capture them all.

  • Our favorite place for family photos? Outdoors during golden hour! But for boudoir sessions, nothing beats our dark and moody studio for those intimate, empowering shots.

  • Friends would say we’re complete opposites! Josh is the extrovert and life of the party (which makes him the perfect photographer!), while Bex is a homebody who loves editing images with a good true crime podcast. Together, we make the perfect team!
